Mike van Eeden is a proud Kaapie having been born and raised in the Stocks (Woodstock to you non Kapies).
Mike’s passions are (along with general mischief) music, reading and football (perversely follows Liverpool, St Pauli, Real Madrid, Hibernian and Ajax Cape Town).
Having been raised on a diet of Springbok radio, Monty Python, science fiction novels, eclectic musical influences, chocolates and bon bons has left him with a decidedly bizarre and often surrealistic sense of humour.
Mike loves nothing more than sharing his love of music with anyone and everyone who will listen-especially if they’re bound and gagged- but be prepared to
undertake a road less travelled with many pot holes, twists and surprising detours through the musical kaleidoscope that makes up his vast collection of alternative, classic rock, reggae, punk, blues and most everything in between worth listening to!
You can catch slices of Mike’s musical life-history along with useless information and some comedy too-all served up on Destination Unknown on The Taxi broadcasting planet wide and, according to Alien Radio Times, in the nether regions of several planetary systems beyond the solar system.
